Filipino Short Stories is a webpage designed and dedicated to all Filipinos and Philippine writers. If you have ever wanted to have an easy access to Filipino short stories by not going to crowded libraries and book shops with limited materials, then I urge you to read this page now.

Basically, this site features and promotes Filipino Short Stories locally and globally. Some book publishing companies lack the capacity to expose some Filipino-written works; hence, it opens opportunity to all Filipino authors (aspiring or professional) to expose their works.

Book shops and libraries sometimes do not have enough hard copies of Filipino short stories so most of the time students are complaining for not enough materials.

This site provides the following:
Reviews of the three famous Filipino short stories- Juan Tamad, May Day Eve, and How My Brother Leon Brought a Wife; List of Filipino authors specializing in Filipino short stories; Under published Filipino short stories; and Published Filipino short stories. From the reviews and published short stories, students and aspiring writers can get techniques in writing and story ideas. Authors of these works will have an opportunity to expose their works in global scene. From the list of Filipino writers, it will be easy for the readers as well as writers to know who writes Filipino short stories from different varieties. From under published works, it encourages aspiring writers to post their own works for exposure.
